Technically, you can send images with various aspect ratios, such as 1:1 or 16:9. These images will be sent successfully and will be viewable by your customers.
However, in these cases, customers may need to tap on the image to open it in fullscreen mode to see the complete picture.
Through extensive trial and error, we've discovered the ideal image size for WhatsApp template messages: 1146px by 600px, with an aspect ratio of 1.91:1.
